Update

Clearly my attempt at writing every day in Jan 2019 failed miserably, cause this is the first time I'm posting since.

Life update:
Moved within my city.
Eyes got worse again.
Still trying to finish my MA.
Got into 2 new fandoms (Stargate and Generation Kill)
Still trying to figure out exactly what I want to do.

I am not great but I'm holding on there.


Will I update daily? uhhhhhhh no clue.

But I will try to update more often.

It's funny - and weird - how fast time passes, isn't it? But hey, you also made new friends in your new fandoms, and now we're going to revive the blogging fandom culture where actually talking to each other is the goal and we build community! :D I love that you already started. Maybe I should join you and post some fics here, too...

Oof I tripped over the same challenge.. started up my journal in 2020, managed a few posts and then promptly stopped. Time to give it another crack!

If we keep trying maybe we'll be able to make it consistent at some point?

ahhh got it got it. I mean there probably is some challenge out there but not one I've heard of. Wonder if it's worth it to see if there is something... see if there's a way to like idk network and bring more community here.

hell yeah signalboost it everywhere! im also longing for active dw communities. I have followed a few more generic one for some more activity on my reading page, but if you know of any smaller/fun ones please share.

I just started going through my Reading (Friends) list and there's one community awesomeers that I see posts regularly - but it's posts that you reply to. And I joined weekendwritingmarathon at some point too, which is a writing challenge/goal thing. fancake is a fic rec comm.

I also read a tip to check out the https://www.dreamwidth.org/latest page - it literally lists every (public) post that has just been posted on DW, so you can get an idea of what comms and also journals are active/updating.

Oh and little_details came to Dreamwidth, which I definitely missed from LJ.
